Just wanted to post some ideas for future tutorials (probably with video), and garner some possible feedback concerning what you peeps might like to see other than the 2 core areas below? I await eagerly to see your suggestions.
- Working with Extra Fields using Import / Export
- Shipping (setup and options)
- Advanced pricing / Attribute combinations
Any more ideas?
1. I have one idea just a basic walkthrough on how to use Jshops own theming so people can make basic tweaks / changes such as colour changes on their own if need be.
I used to use Vbulletin and a lot of the template stores had theming tutorials.
2. Also basic work flow order processing and daily activities.
3. Some did you know ? stuff about Jshop
4. Exporting to accounting packages such as quickbooks / sage etc
5. Basic Jshop setting up tutorial it’s in the manual but videos are better =p
Theres loads to cover but this is all I can think of right now I’ll be back when I think of more stuff
Oh I got one more we need work arounds to common problems such as mass deleting or removal of products from sections which can’t be done through the Jshop admin panel at the moment but can be worked around with phpmyadmin or a mysql query.
Good ideas Matthew. Once the core template sets are ready and available, I think these areas need addressing and some guides put up.
